Asking Your Favorite Teachers Questions!

Hi, everyone! For our last Scribbling article this year, we thought we would ask your favorite teachers some essential questions! These teachers are Ms. Smith (English and 10th grade dean), Dr. Krug (Physics), Mr. Kosegarten (English), Ms. Hummel (History), Ms. Reddinger (Chemistry), Ms. Keener (12th-grade dean), Ms. Pelson (Math), and Ms. Squeglia (English).

Question 1: Under Armour or Nike? Under Armour: Ms. Smith, Dr. Krug, Mr. Kosegarten and Ms. Hummel

Nike: Ms. Reddinger, Ms. Keener, Ms. Pelson and Ms. Squeglia.

Question 2: At a movie would you choose popcorn or candy?

Popcorn: Ms. Reddinger, Dr. Krug, Ms. Pelson, Ms. Squeglia and Ms. Hummel

Candy: Ms. Smith, Ms. Keener and Mr. Kosegarten

Question 3: Amusement park or day at the beach?

Beach: Ms. Reddigner, Ms. Keener and Ms. Squeglia

Weights: Ms. Pelson

Question 5: Swimming or sunbathing?

Swimming: Ms. Smith, Ms. Reddinger, Mr. Kosegarten, Ms. Hummel and Ms. Pelson

Sunbathing: Ms. Keener, Dr. Krug and Ms. Squeglia

Question 6: McDonald’s or Shake Shack?

Shake Shack: Ms. Reddinger, Ms. Smith, Dr. Krug, Ms. Keener, Ms. Pelson, Ms. Hummel and Ms. Squeglia

McDonald’s: Mr. Kosegarten

Question 7: Coke or Pepsi?

Coke: Ms. Smith, Ms. Reddinger, Dr. Krug, Ms. Pelson, Mr. Kosegarten and Ms. Squeglia

Pepsi: Ms. Keener and Ms. Hummel

Question 8: Frogs or toads?

Question 9: Large party or small gathering? Small gathering: Ms. Smith, Dr. Krug, Mr. Kosegarten, Ms. Hummel, Ms. Pelson and Ms. Squeglia

Large party: Ms. Reddinger and Ms. Keener

Question 10: Ross and Rachel- were they on a break? No: Ms. Smith, Ms. Reddinger, Ms. Keener, Mr. Kosegarten and Ms. Hummel

Yes: Ms. Pelson and Ms. Squeglia

Question 11: Should mint ice cream be green or white?

Green: Ms. Smith, Ms. Reddinger, Dr. Krug, Ms. Keener, Mr. Kosegarten and Ms. Squeglia

White: Ms. Hummel and Ms. Pelson

Question 12: If you had the world’s attention for 30 seconds, what would you say?

  1. Dr. Krug: Believe in science and scientists!

  2. Ms. Squeglia: “It’s ‘I’m going to LIE down,’ not ‘I’m going to LAY down!”

Question 13: Where do you not mind waiting?

  1. Ms. Smith: “In a waiting room, if I have a book or magazine.”

  2. Dr. Krug: “In line for ‘Harry Potter’ midnight book releases.”

  3. Ms. Pelson: “A doctor's office with good magazines…”

  4. Ms. Keener: “I don't mind waiting in line to vote. So many have sacrificed their lives that I might have the right to stand in line and have my vote counted.”

  5. Mr. Kosegarten: “Getting my car serviced- get reading done, have a soda, check out the lot. Surprisingly not bad.”

Question 14: If you could disinvent one thing, what would it be?

  1. Ms. Pelson: “The PS-4!!!!!”

  2. Dr. Krug: “The leaf blower— it is noisy, it pollutes the air, and it’s not that effective.”

  3. Ms. Reddinger: “Cell phones! People are ruled by them and forgetting how to talk to each other.”

Question 15: Would you rather look like a potato or feel like a potato?

  1. Ms. Hummel: “If I looked like a potato, I most likely would feel like a potato - a potential existential dilemma.”

  2. Dr. Krug: “Feel like.”
