Hi, everyone! For this month’s “Scribbling” article, your favorite critics/reviewers are going to give you the top five movies and TV shows to watch while you’re in quarantine.

MOVIES:

Comedies “The Hangover” is super funny, and there are three movies in the series if you feel super bored. The first one is on Netflix!

“Blended” is a movie that follows two families that go to Africa together, and funny events ensue. It’s really cute.

“21 Jump Street” is a super funny, action-packed classic.

“Ride Along” is a hilarious action movie that also has a sequel.

New movies

“Jumanji” is an adventure movie but is pretty funny, and the sequel came out recently.

“Little Women” is very heartfelt.

“Knives Out” is a whodunnit mystery that feels like the game Clue. Despite the movie following a hunt for a murderer, it is not scary.

“Jojo Rabbit” is set during World War II and can best be summed up by a comment from “Rolling Stone” describing the movie as “affecting.”

“1917” is a dramatic and gripping war movie.

SHOWS:

“Modern Family” never fails to make me laugh and just wrapped up its last season.

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is SO FUNNY. You can find it on Hulu.

“New Girl” is a cute and funny show on Netflix.

“Outer Banks” premiered on Netflix recently and is very engaging. You want to know what happens next! There are only ten episodes, so it is not time-consuming.

“Friends” is a very chill classic and is super funny and cute.
