Best Places To Visit in Las Vegas

Here are my top five places to visit the next time you visit Las Vegas!

The Stratosphere

The Stratosphere is a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Standing at over 1,149 feet, the observation deck on the top floor features thrilling rides such as the X-scream (pictured above). Think of it as a roller coaster drop that hangs 866 feet over the Strip!

The Linq

The Linq is basically the Bethesda Row/Pike and Rose of Las Vegas with the added bonus of an outdoor zipline and the world’s tallest observation wheel (more about that later!). The Linq has a couple shops, but it contains mostly restaurants. Some notable ones being In & Out burgers (pictured below), Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Ja Burritos (sushi burritos, pictured below).

The High Roller

Standing at over five hundred and fifty feet above the Las Vegas Strip, the High Roller is the world’s tallest observation wheel! With a 360-degree view of the Strip and bubbles that can fit up to 30 people, the wheel takes passengers on an approximately 30-minute ride with gorgeous views of Las Vegas. Ride the wheel at night to see Las Vegas illuminated by lights; it’s no shock that Las Vegas is the brightest city at night when seen from space!

The Luxor Hotel (Titanic and Bodies Exhibit)

The Luxor hotel is a black, pyramid-shaped building in the middle of Las Vegas. The light beam produced by the hotel that shoots into the sky can be seen for miles around! The hotel is Egyptian themed, with a giant sphinx in the main lobby as well as several renderings of Egyptian architecture. The inside provides plenty of entertainment; the Titanic and the BODIES exhibits are truly one of a kind. The Titanic exhibit features hundreds of authentic artifacts pulled from the wreckage of the Titanic and has multiple rooms rendering what rooms in the Titanic would have looked like. It even houses a massive piece of the actual Titanic! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to go to the BODIES exhibit, but the exhibit showcases hundreds of real human bodies, so for any medicine enthusiasts the museum is sure to be exciting!

T-Mobile Arena (to see a Golden Knights game)

I am a HUGE Caps fan, but watching a Vegas Golden Knights game was really thrilling! Not only did I get to bask in the glory of having rightfully taking the Stanley Cup champion title from them in 2018 (best year!) but the pregame show also was truly one of a kind. Although I was the one making fun of them during the playoffs, the shows are really unique and perfectly suit the party energy of Las Vegas. I watched the game against the Arizona Coyotes, and the Knights won two-to-one in a shootout. Nevertheless, GO CAPS!
