My Favorite Meals of Spring Break 2019

This spring break, I went skiing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with my family. If you never visited there, you wouldn’t know that between the small towns of Jackson and Teton Village, there are tons of amazing restaurants to choose from!

Here are a few of my favorite dishes from the trip!

1. The Bolognese pasta from Il Villaggio Osteria

The creamy bolognese sauce with homemade tagliatelle pasta is topped with grated parmesan. The pasta from this restaurant is so fresh, and I love how it pairs with the sauce because it creates a fantastic bite! No wonder I ordered it twice!

2. Truffle pasta from Gather

The pasta from Gather is also homemade, and the sauce is a creamy mushroom sauce with hints of truffle. The dish is topped with a poached egg that melts well into the sauce and crispy pork belly for texture and a bit of saltiness. The piece of baguette on the side is perfect for soaking up all of the leftovers!

3. Smoked chicken mac and cheese from Piste Mountain Bistro

This mac and cheese is made with white cheddar cheese and is soooo creamy and delicious. The elbow macaroni is mixed with smocked, pulled chicken, bits of chorizo, arugula and caramelized onions. This dish is worth the post-meal stomachache!

4. Challah french toast from the Spur

For breakfast one day, I ordered the challah french toast topped with apples and pecans paired with maple syrup. It was also a bit cinnamon-y. This sweet breakfast dish was a great start to my day!

5. Rosemary chicken sandwich from Piste Mountain Bistro

This sandwich was the perfect refuel during a ski day. The sandwich consisted of rosemary chicken, arugula and a sweet honey glaze that complemented the rosemary flavor really well. The sauce on the side is a broth-y au jus for the sandwich to be dipped in. The fries on the side were also really crispy and yummy!
